Our Story

One Christmas morning, founder Jessica’s (then) 10-year-old son, Victor, got a 3D printer—and both of them got completely hooked. Not just watching prints come out, but experimenting, figuring things out, and bringing ideas to life together.

But something stood out pretty quickly…

A lot of the STEAM activities Victor loved—building, creating, 3D printing —tended to be solo experiences. They were fun, but not something kids usually did side-by-side. That sparked a simple idea: What if 3D printing could be something kids experienced together? What if they could sit next to each other, create at the same time, compare ideas, help each other, and share the excitement in real time?

That idea became The 3D Lab™.

A place where kids don’t just use technology—they connect through it. Where creating is something you do alongside other people. And where the same excitement from that Christmas morning shows up every single day.
